Childcare with a Mission

Little Turtles’ Playhouse (LTP) is a childcare center whose mission is to provide affordable and high-quality childcare services to families living in the Stateline area through the cooperative efforts of teachers and parents

LTP was originally founded by a group of professors and staff members at Beloit College in September 2013 as a childcare center owned and managed by parents under a cooperative model.

In 2016, the childcare center moved to its current location at 819 Clary Street through Beloit College’s charitable donation of the building and by the generous capital improvement funding provided by the cooperative’s benefactor, Joy Boardman.

Better Together

The membership of today’s cooperative is committed to the belief that greater outcomes are achieved when involved families work together with teachers, other families and the community toward the common goal of providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our children.

My favorite thing is that they provide the kind of care I  provide my daughter. I never thought that possible at a daycare.
